The 5th China Digital Media Summit, hosted by International Radio, TV and Film Equipment Exhibition (BIRTV2009), was held in Beijing Radisson SAS Hotel in Beijing, 27th August, 2009. Leaded by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television(SARFT), the theme of the summit around "CMMB/ IPTV/New form of TV", was to discuss digital new media, triple play, the promotion of digital terrestrial television, and the progress of the CMMB(China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting) . CEO Dr. Zhang of Innofidei attended the summit and made a specialist presentation.
       At the sub-forum of CMMB, the vice general manager Liu Tingjun gave an opening CMMB speech concerning the network coverage, operation and related CMMB service. Afterwards, the CEO Dr. Zhang of Innofidei made the speech, on behalf of the core industry chain enterprise of CMMB. His speech" Innofidei, Domestic Advantage" expressed the development and vision of company, introduced the application of the CMMB, and gave a general introduction about the product line of Innofidei CMMB chip.
       Dr Zhang indicated that China established the industry alliance for its self-developed mobile TV standard CMMB (China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting), revealing that the whole national enterprise are the industrial insider. Just because of this, Innofidei will grab this cherish opportunity to innovate the new chip technology and provide solutions of CMMB Front-End system. Through the potable TV(CMMB), Innofidei will build a platform between operator and electronic manufacturers. Currently, the company possessed variety of CMMB chip product line to meet the need of majority kinds of terminals such as GSM and TD mobile phone, PMP and PND. The mellow chip product line would guarantee the rapid development of CMMB industry.
       In addition, Dr Zhang stressed the viewpoint "CMMB should develop for informationize of rural area". He pointed out that CMMB will spur the development to a certain scale of special equipment Industry, CMMB chip and terminal industry, and cultural and creative industries. At the same time, Dr Zhang demonstrated that Innofidei lead a further step on the industry of the combination of TD and CMMB, which both are the national industry standard in China. He believed that the combination of the two technologies will push the triple play and turn into real productivity soon after.
